Welcome to KV Haflong, N. Chills, Assam, India.

India - a land of often bewildering diversity, a jigsaw puzzle of people of every faith and religion, living together to create a unique and colourful mosaic. Here is a festival of every season and for every reason. No nation on earth has more varied and spectacular wild life and nature than India.

The seven States of North-East India - Assam, Arunachal pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizorm, Manipur and Tripura, fondled by naming “Seven Sisters” contribute abundantly to the magnificent diversity of India. The eldest sister, Assam, ‘The Land of Bhihu' caters a bewitching beauty by blending a dreamlike landscape and unique people. She had her birth in 1874 when a separate ‘Chief Commissioner's' Province of Assam was created with her capital at Shillong.

About KV
Haflong, rightly remarked as the Switzerland of India, claims the crown of being the only hill station in Assam. It is the district Head Quarter of North Cachar Hills, on of the 23 districts of Assam. This small but elegant town stands majestically at an average height of 3000 feet above the mean sea level.
